Raiffeisen Südtirol wants to make greater use of data for well-founded business decisions, but is facing significant restrictions in analysis and planning options.
Important processes are based on Excel, which does not allow historization or trend evaluations and severely limits flexibility.
At the same time, heterogeneous data sources make consistent use difficult. In order to close these gaps, Raiffeisen opts to use Power BI and design and implement it with our help.

How can sales and customer data be analyzed more efficiently to make better decisions?
How can heterogeneous data sources be brought together in a central, user-friendly reporting solution?
How can you build a self-service BI culture so that employees can carry out analyses independently?
In a workshop with the specialist departments, the most important reporting requirements and key figures are defined so that the dashboards are specifically tailored to the bank's needs.
The relevant data sources
(e.g. depot, plant and customer data) are prepared, combined and consistently made available for use in Power BI.
Based on this data, the first interactive dashboards are created, supplemented by security mechanisms such as row-level security, so that every user only sees approved data.
With the go-live of sales reporting, accompanying training courses start, which teach employees how to use the dashboards safely and independently.
Further topic-specific dashboards will follow. At the same time, coaching formats, templates and exchange channels are being established in order to build a self-service BI culture in the long term.
Raiffeisen Südtirol wanted to make more use of data for well-founded business decisions and build a modern BI solution for this purpose. The aim was to improve analysis and planning options, bring together heterogeneous data sources and establish a self-service BI culture in the company.
Prior to the project, important processes at Raiffeisen Südtirol were based on Excel. As a result, historization and trend evaluations were only possible to a limited extent, and different data sources made it difficult to consistently use sales, plant and customer data.
taod designed and implemented a central reporting architecture with Power BI and Databricks for Raiffeisen South Tyrol. This included the recording of technical requirements, the integration of relevant data sources, the development of interactive dashboards and security mechanisms such as row-level security.
The introduction began with workshops on reporting requirements and key figures. Depot, plant and customer data was then prepared and consistently provided in Power BI, the first dashboards were developed and sales reporting was launched. Accompanying training, coaching formats, templates and exchange channels should anchor their use in the company in the long term.
With the new PowerBI solution, Raiffeisen Südtirol established a modern and scalable reporting architecture that creates greater transparency and speed in decision-making. Employees have access to up-to-date data, can analyze it interactively and are less reliant on manual Excel evaluations.
