Mastering a data analysis tool is essential for handling data with confidence. Equally important is an understanding of how data works and what you can do with it. As individual and project-related training ensures that participants get involved quickly, extensive preparatory discussions are held with the respective clients in advance. The following questions, among others, are clarified: What prior knowledge do the participants have? What expectations do the participants have? Have they already worked with an analysis tool and what was their experience with it? Is there a current project example along which the training can be designed?

Individual training concept and audit of the data situation in the company

Different learning paths and learning locations are developed for each company and each training group. All participants can follow the training content at their own pace and in their preferred environment. Together with taod, each company develops its own needs-oriented learning strategy to be used in the multi-day training courses. As the participants in our training courses work with their own data, we carry out a data audit of the data used in the training and prepare it.

Procedure and implementation of the training courses

On the first day of training, we focus on the basics and most important functions of Power BI Desktop or Tableau as well as the connection and transformation of data. In order to provide the teams with a basis for reliable and targeted dashboards in the respective specialist area, we help to create clean and forward-looking data models and data relationships along important KPIs for the participants.

On the second day of the training, the groups learn how to optimally integrate the respective tool into their own business use cases. This includes more complex calculations to gain additional insights into data, as well as combining calculations, parameters and table calculations. We teach the best way to create informative and intuitively interpretable reports. The aim of the day is to create a dashboard for possible use in the company or the trained specialist department.

After the training, our consultants are available to answer any questions and challenges. We offer flexible coaching budgets to provide assistance with specific project issues.
